twin rear fogs

Recommended Posts

What do I need to wire both rear fogs together, do I need bulb plus holder or just the wire.

Do you have LED or normal tail lights?

For the LED lights the bulbs and wiring is in place - just need to recode using VCDS and cable. Details here:

A list of VCDS owners is here:

Not too sure about normal tail lights but I'm sure someone will reply soon.

Because the BCM is expecting to see 1 21w bulb on that channel. When it sees 2 of them one of 2 things will happen, it will throw a bulb warning light and shut the channel down to protect it, or you will damage your BCM.

If you want to go ahead and invalidate your warranty with a bodge job by all means wire them together.

The correct solution is to do the coding for the second fog light channel.
