And when the cold weather comes it won't work as the guys in the Octavia section found out [emoji6]

Installed it, part of the gas strut took some effort to get off but I got it in the end. Nice cool mod for not much ££. Not really bothered about it not working 100% of the time, as long as it doesn't do the car any damage.

Struts are normally 2 bolts either end.

 

One thing to think about... what is the total height of the boot when opened ? is this higher than OEM ? if so it could go crashing into multi storey car park ceilings or euro tunnel carriage ceiling as an example which are all at standard height to prevent impacts
