I have a Fabia and my last MOT shows advisory for my suspension arm rubber mounting deteriorated. (I understand its a very common topic...)

Since I know nothing about car... I did a research and the problem should about the bushing ? Am I right ?

 

And I try to ask the garage which did the MOT to fix for me but they cost more than 200 pounds....

Its seems too expensive after I check other topics in the community...

 

So I am wondering is there anyone know a trust garage which can fix my car with a possibly lower price ? Close to Southampton ?

Sounds like a wishbone bush? 200 is a bit steep to change a wishbone to be honest. I use Ray Chandler next door to Fareham train station, he's a TT owner and the only guy I trust with my cars.

I always use and would recommend Neil or Mark at Mastertech Autos in Eastleigh. Always 100% honest and reliable.

My vote goes to JKM in Portsmouth. Give Kate a call and get a quote.

There's also VW Independent in Hedge End or Chandlers Ford.

 

Haven't been there for a few years, but the did all my work on my Golf and were always great.

I can second JKM in portsmouth, been using them for about 3-4 years with my Golf prior to the Octy, top work and competitively priced!
