KESSY + (seat, mirror...) memory

Featured Replies

I recently ordered an Octavia with KESSY and and electric drivers seat. I know the car is able to save seat and mirror positions for each key (it was a requirement for us, since our family has two drivers with pretty different seat adjustments).

But I started to wonder...is the car able to save other settings per key as well? For example BMW allows you to save all sorts of stuff for a key, including radio presets, driving mode settings and more. My question is, is the Octavia able to save more than seat and mirror positions?

Not that I'm aware of but I only collected my new vrs with these options today, so I ain't really messed about with stuff yet

From the manual just seats and mirror I believe.

I've got Kessy and have switched keys and not noticed it saving anything different with the second key.

No idea about kessy but with the normal key a lot off the CAR settings are saved for each key, don't think that includes radio settings though.

It remembers a few of the options to do with doors such as whether to unlock them all our just driver with a short press.

Doesn't remember radio or drive mode settings though

As above, with KESSY it remembers some but not all settings. But this is similar to my previous Audi/BMW's which all had similar. When I get a new car I always take one key and set it all up for me (literally checking every option), then take the Wife out with me, get her to set her seat position, and then do the same again in the settings (again checking every option) setting it up for her.

Thanks for your replies!

I'd love to have a list (there really should be one in the manual) of the settings that are saved per key. This way I could know right away if I should set the settings to my personal preference or a compromise both of us can live with.
