VRS rejected

Featured Replies

We rejected my wifes first Mk 2 Octavia Elegance 1800 TSI when the DSG box seriously played up within 40 miles of picking it up from the dealer and it was going to take 3-4 weeks for the parts to arrive when they found the fault after 4 days. they replaced the car with no problem.

good service from the dealer (Wayside Milton Keynes) and went back for the VRS

That's a reason to reject a car, not a oil cap and a sensor!

I had the common boost pressure sensor failure on my vRS after 1000km or so.
Like kensym, because of the excellent dealer service & the half-day turn-around for investigation & repair I left feeling very happy I'd chosen a Skoda & the particular garage.

The first few months of anything from a toaster to a washing machine at home can fail. The small items they swap, bigger they send a "fix it" person out. I suspect the filler cap was dealers fault and if Skoda found out they wouldn't be happy. So they would use as a demo to check it out, and sell on.But blame the other bit on Skoda, and exaggerate the issue.

Beadles Maidstone. The same garage that spray painted my chrome grille and pretended it was the black pack.

So many issues with this dealership as well. Won't be using them again in a hurry.
