Recommend me some snow foam please

Featured Replies

Having just invested in a Karcher K2 pressure washer I intend to buy a snow foam lance. I've had a quick look through this site but couldn't see any recommendations for snow foam; are they pretty much the same? Or are one or 2 recommended over all others? Not having used the stuff before I have absolutely no idea, so grateful for any suggestions.

Valet Pro pH neutral Snow Foam seems to be highly regarded.

But as there are so many out there I'm sure everyone has their own personal favourite.

There is a 'group buy' on here for 5 litres of snow foam & 5 litres of shampoo at a very good price. Seems to be as good as many others from what I've read.

My favourites are Bilt Hamber, Angelwax & ValetPro.

Another vote for Valetpro ph neutral. It's a mid priced foam that's a good compromise between value and quality. Smells nice too and provides a nice thick foam using just an inch of foam in the bottle and topping up with warm water.

The autobrite lance is the one to go for. There's a group buy on detailing world with various combinations but from them the magifoam is the best, about the same as valetpro IMO

I'm giving Mr. Pink a try this weekend - weather permitting.

Recently tested Nano-Pro Hulk Snow Foam; not for me.

Current favourite is Blizzard from KKD; and ValetPro pH Neutral of course.

If i wasn't stock-up for snow foam - then the Car-Chem GB would be a good option.

Carbon Collective Satsuma Snow foam.  Was using Valet Pro until my brother spilt some neat on his garage floor and it stripped the paint.....

Don't want to come across as a total Richard.

But I think it would only be fair, if you intend to make commercial posts for your business that you at least give something back to the site and become a Sponsor.

I am sure you would understand that if those of us with extremely modest ventures shell out to support the site that we might expect a more established business do the same.

Not intending to upset anyone or start any arguments, but I firmly stand by what I have said.

I have contacted Shane as it was myself that posted the discount code on here. Shane has sent numerous emails to "admin" about becoming a trader/sponsor & he has not had the courtesy of a reply. Maybe Admin could step in & reply to him. After all, Shane is trying to help you guys out with products & a healthy discount.

To be fair - i understand this situation. Simon at iShine had a similar experience and sort of lost interest after lack of replies.

BUT

Is it as simple as going to the forum shop these days?

I was trying to find a suitable link or guidelines for Shane and like-minded businesses - this is all that is apparent....

I hope this helps - it would be good to get more Sponsors involved, if in the best interests of the forum users.

post removed.

Storm in a teacup.  Let's get back to talking about snowfoam.

T'was but a jest, my sense of humour......

Think the meguiars is brilliant to be fair

I tried Mr. Pink, it wasn't as good (A bit thin, didn't cling as well and dispersed quite quickly) as my AB magifoam. I think I will just use it a shampoo from now on and stick with either magifoam or valetpro ph neutral.

Please remember...it should disperse and run off the car...taking the muck with it. If its too thick then it really wont do the job.

Well said Mike, although I also wouldn't want it too thin, and I also thought Mr pink was not ideal as a snow foam.

I used Meg's Hyperwash for many years with great results!

Ordered the AB foam lance but went for the super foam. Is there much difference between that and the magifoam?

When I rang to place my order some months ago the chap I spoke to said the magifoam was the better of the 2 to use with the lance. He said the superfoam was used by the hand wash lot you see in the supermarket car parks as it prlduced loads of suds so I went with the magifoam. Can you change the order?
