Brake upgrade

Featured Replies

I'll keep this short and sweet. I have ordered a Monte Carlo and have been in talks with a company reference an engine conversion.

Has anyone completed a brake upgrade or has any knowledge of any?

Thanks

Tim

What sort of engine conversion??

Not going to let anyone in on that yet. Brakes first ;)

Not sure whether Golf 280mm brakes would fit?

Bossfox is currently in the process of an engine swap on a Citigo, see the projects section of the Citigo

I've seen that. It's a little long winded going through all the comments. That's where I have my inspiration. I don't have as much money as him but have similar cars I know he has a Fiesta ST like me. I also have a mk3 Octy vrs.

You will be surprised with the engine I have in mind should be fun

Haha I have!

On the up forum the general belief is that a lot of parts are based on the mk4 polo 6n.

So maybe that's a good place to start.

Or the MK4 golf perhaps, I bought tinted side indicators for the MK4 that fitted perfectly on the citigo

It's nothing major it is a new engine from VW

Motor 3-Cylinder

Turbocharger

999 cm³

81 kW (110 PS) 5.000 - 5.500 /min

200 Nm / 1500 - 4000 1/min

Euro 6

6 gears

0-60 in 9 seconds 122 mph top speed

Or go crazy and stick a turbo to the left of the engine bay and a another intercooler, but a top mount and have a impreza bonnet scoop  then get a stage 3 map
