DISLIKE - the thieving scum!!! Grrrrr

Sorry to hear this mate.

Feel for you what was the point.they made a nice mess doing it

Thanks everyone, the question is, do I pay £35 for anew badge and touch up kit and hope the badge hides the mess, or debate the car and have te scratch repaired by chips away or similar?

Depends on how you view your car TBH. If it was mine I'd get a smart repair done and fit the new badge, but you could remove the old one, touch it up with some genuine skoda touch up which is normally about £8 from the dealers and offer the new badge up to see how it looks then make a decision on whether you get the smart repair done? Should bearound £80 for the smart repair.

little sh1ts. I had some moron prise the carbot fibre tank protector off my bike in Spain one, but luckily no damage was done. If you think this might happen again then cctv might be worth considering. Good luck.

Look on the bright side. Skoda badges are now very desireable. You don't see many BMW's or Merc's with missing badges any more, so you should feel priviledged and wear your half-badge with pride.

Position the new badge over the mark?

Little f*****s, they did that to my mk1 GTI Golf, they went for the grill badge (I guess to try and emulate the then popular Beastie Boys front man) but Golf grills weren't tough and they took half that with it too!

B******s !

This sort of behaviour is what needs to be stopped, forget sending troops to foreign places to be shot at, let them loose on antisocial scum.

OK, over the top I know, but this crap really P's me off, feel for ya bud. :x

Typical!  So much for wanting the badge and then snapping it!  You'd have thought if they really want the badge, research how to get it off "cleanly" without breaking it!

I feel your pain mate, Funnily enough, my rear ns door got keyed last night, focking scrots can't leave nothing alone

its not as if the car isn't usually parked in the same spot, been there for months!

Feel for you buddy, let's hope you find out who they are and that justice is served by letting you tear off part of their body to see how they like it!!

Yes little bs ripped my rear number plate bulb holder out, left wires dangling and put a great big X on my boot only had it 2 days. Now de badged apart from the large one in the middle, even had a go at that recently.

If they get caught do gooders get them off. Parents should be made to pay for all damage and give the little bs a good hiding. Loads of wing mirrors kicked off cars near me, cars scratched etc but nobody will get involved if they see anything.

I have personally had at least 5 mirrors done, lost count of windows broken must say most of damage on other vehicles not all on present.

Oh geez. Take the badge , but leave the paint work untouched. But no. Only take half of it and ruin the paintwork while doing it. Maybe you insurence will cover it ? no ?

Marginal I would think.  Once the excess is paid ...plus all the hassle of filling in paperwork etc...maybe lose some NCB ??

Little feckers need a good kick up the ar5e!

It's not worth claiming for, I shall probably de badge the Car and get smart repair or some such outfit to sort the scratches

I assume you've reported it to the police - not that I expect them to send a CSI unit round, or even do much to catch the little scrote(s), but if they don't know it's happening, they certainly won't do anything about it.

Trick or treat... A US import that is awful. Parties, fancy dress and bobbing for apples it's the best way.

Feel for you guys  :'(

Thanks everyone, the question is, do I pay

Checkout AliExpress.com (or eBay) for a replacement.

Its a Chinese wholesale website which do lots of detailling & modding stuff.

If it I remember correctly Paul O'Brien bought some vRS badges from there & he had started a thread about them.

I've used them for some other things. Prices are very very cheap & delivery takes about 10-15 working days.

Will probably be much cheaper than buying from Skoda

Someone has put a dent in my boot right next to the Octavia badge. Has a black scuff in the dent, turned up between Friday eve and Saturday eve and I can't see how it could have been done accidentally. Feel for you, so un necessary :-(
