Has anyone found a good FREE web text service (send a text to a phone from my computer) for a couple of texts a day

I've used this before and it seems to work ok.

If you go to your phone company's website (Orange, O2, etc) is there not an option to do it there?

they started charging 50p per text. i use 02 website as well (used to be known as genie). you get 10 texts a day for free.

lycos ain't done free sms for a while i'm afraid Lorna. you buy bundles off the now. think cheapest bundle is six quid a month, or something.

anyway, you surely can't need more than 10 a day..... :eek:

Vodafone in ireland give 300 texts a month to any network on their site, comes in handy. It has a very handy feature where you can save phone numbers.
