CitiGo Headlights...

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a Good  dipped headlight and main beam bulb for the CitiGo.

H4 I believe, is the dipped/main beam the same bulb?

Thanks Folks

Everyone will come back and say night breakers etc.

I've commissioned a company to make some projector headlights for my Citigo when it comes.

Pricey at £240 though

I fitted Halfords Advanced HID Xenon style H4 bulbs, very bright and very white! CE marked and legal with a good image patern!!!

First things first, make sure they are set up correctly

My Nightbreakers blew quickly. Fitted Halfords extreme brilliance and are so much brighter than Osrams and so far outlasting them [emoji106]

My headlights were set too low from the factory and are now set at the max legal height and are great [emoji16]

I find the headlights are very good as standard and I am on my 2nd Citigo.

They are much better than 2009 Fabia I had.

Yes, H4 it is, and dipped/main beam are in the same bulb.

Since there is only one bulb per headlamp unit...how could they not be ??

I'm not very close to my Skoda dealer. Does KwikFit do headlamp re-alignment? Mine are definitely set too low even when adjusted to max height using the control on the dash.

You can move them yourself. You just need a screwdriver to turn a plastic screw behind the headlight. Well at least you can do this in my Fiesta ST

I think it's a hex key and it's very accessible too [emoji106]

The only problem with doing them yourself is that it would be all too easy to set them too high without a beam setter. If someone who has had them set up professionally could do a bit of measuring of the dip height against a wall/garage door on the flat with the car front 3 metres away, along the lines of the diagram below.

My drive is on a slope so I can't do that. Deffo worth doing though, I think the Citigo lights are great and really don't know what all the fuss is about.

They are when they're set up right with decent bulbs [emoji106]
