New superb doors

Featured Replies

Hello, I am new to this site but would appreciate some unbiased opinion/advice please.I

am due to buy a new superb this week but when I saw it in the showroom it has a very minor indentation in the rear door just below and in front of the door handle on the rear passenger door. The sales manager tells me this is normal and is due to the bracing inside the door and that it will not be noticeable when the car is outside?! Is this sales nonsense or possibly true? ( the salesman says he viewed 5 other cars and all were the same, I did not have time to check that when I was at the showroom).

Was there any other new superbs you could compare it to? May be worth popping into another local dealer to see if they have any you could check. Seems odd that it would be like that though. And if you can see it inside you will see it outside.

There was one outside I could check and it seemed o.k. But there was no time to move the one in the showroom outside. I should be going back tomorrow when I will have more time to check this out. Thanks.
