    Assuming I've fitted my GTB1756 by then (currently planned for January :notme: ) then count me in for this one!

    If I don't I will come down in my Ibiza TDi but will be racing all day anyway, no doubt upsetting either myself at how slow it is or some GTB set up Fabias ;)

    Ultimately its a day of fun.  People can come on the stand if they just wish to watch everyone else.  There is no commitment to actually doing any quarter miles. :thumbup:

    Part of the fun, for me, will be the drive up in convoy! Always good for a laugh seeing that many Skoda's following behind one another!

    We all know the mk1's will trounce the mk2 Dave. :)

     

    If it's anything like the Czech airfield, the DSG will help the mk2 get away but any fairly well tuned mk1 will soon overtake. :)

     

    Who knows what it's like on the drag strip though?  Could be a fair leveller in terms of launches?

    as jason said, they get away well ;) it was 90 mph when he passed me here in my old car ;)
