USC is end of July/start of August.

if its still the same as last time I went you only need a helmet if your terminal speed is over 100mph

I think it might be 105 now.  I remember the time I was told I couldn't run again after surprising myself with a 105.2 terminal - and I'd left my helmet at home....

Yes - quarter mile and terminal is your speed over the line.  So if you're pretty sure you can't reach 105mph in 400 yards from a standing start, no need to bring a helmet.  Unfortunately I do as I am averaging arround 112 to 114mph in that distance.

Never actually been timed but if I run I would have sorted out my map and should hopefully be pushing around 210bhp with no rear interior or spare wheel etc in the boot, not actually sure what that would run

With 210 you have no issues with the 105mph thing I think.  You may get into 3 figures with some serious weight stripping and a good launch

I'm going to get fabooka to remap the car with launch control, I'll defo come for the line up just not sure if I'll run on the day, but I'll see if I can grab a helmet just in case as it would be crap to pay for it and be only able to do 1 or 2 runs
