I just noticed there are about 28 mk2 Fabias and 20 mk1 coming (not exact figures as some are maybes and Toxic has put himself on both lists...) so far.

 

Going to be a rather large turn out and a little queueing.

If I haven't invested in a new car I'd like to attend this event. Who is interested in meeting me somewhere in the east mids area so we can travel down together anyone? I'm from Lincoln so anyone travelling from the notts areas or north of me I will meet up with if possible ..

Yes, funny thing is that if 80% of the people with names down did come we'd have enough people to do a dedicated Fabia day that's not open to the public!

They did a Friday as that's when his birthday was.

They might be able to do a weekend day, I'm not sure, assuming they don't have anything else on the Calendar for that day.

I would imagine with 50 people already signed up and no deposits taken to make sure they turn up it wouldn't be easy to start shifting dates.

Check your local meets section and this thread for what names are down that are coming from your area. The Southern contingent coming up from London should be pretty large itself gathering up people along the way I would assume.

There is no commital to running your car.  Ultimately it is a big meet.  Hopefully they'll run the jetcar a couple of times during the day, but that's usually reserved for shows, not RWYB days.

Whilst I would agree people will be more often in the queue to run, so keeping order would be a bit of a nightmare.  I believe we will have to make do with having fabia 1 and 2 areas opposite one another.

LOL I think more than white Mk1 Fabia is coming to it! TO be honest if it was colour coded that would be great... slight OCD here too! :p
