I'm looking to buy my first car and have saw a 55 fabia vrs not too far from me.

Only thing is it's HAD head work due to belt snapping last year but that doesn't bother me greatly as he had receipts of work to fix it. What does bother me is he says the turbo (Garrett GT1749vc) has a howl. I know the turbo came from a reputable member on here from his listing. Is this howl normal? Or is it showing signs of wear?

DPF worries

Hi again. I have a 1.6 tdi My daughter recently had to sell her VW Sharan after the DPF was pronounced dead. At least 2K to fix,probably much more.Her car was low mileage,full service history. Can I protect the DPF on our much older vehicle,are there options if it clogs up? Thankyou

I have a 7 seat edition on order but as a stock car it has lane assist but I wasn't able to specify the fatigue detection or traffic sign recognition which were on the nice to have but non essential list. Is it likely I will be able to enable these or get them enabled by someone using VCDS? Is there anything else I might want to get enabled at the same time? Thanks

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now.. Have attached the results.. Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)
