You wouldn't believe it was possible to make an already ugly car even uglier...   but they've managed it!

Honda halts production at Swindon due to parts delays (autocar.co.uk)

Good old Brexit **** up continues.

Ironically Honda are leaving the UK in June 2021 with the loss of 3500local Swindon jobs and indirectly 15000suppliers jobs

TBH not all Brexit.....merely 11,000 containers full of PPE at Felixstowe is causing massive importation issues if the truth be known and container ships are struggling to unload.

We have lots of supply chain issues and have had since early November.

They only show you/us the side they want and the way they want to paint it....Honda (Japan) were  negotiating their own trade deal with the EU back in 2013.

The little Toyota looks a lot of fun but £33,500 with the track pack is bonkers or is it that special. If I hadn’t gotten bored of Golf R’s I could buy a nicely loaded 2nd hand R and still have a few grand in my pocket.

£33,500 spare what would you buy, excluding  an R or the Civic?

If Toyota had one with just 2 pedals i would have my deposit paid right now to have as a keeper.

(I don't think a Servo Clutch conversion will be that good an idea for myself.)

This has to be one of the last great Icons or Classics of the future that you can get from a dealership at under 40 grand.

It is maybe not an investment but it is unlikely to lose you much if selling in a few years, there will be those buying to speculate.

Thanks Honda Engineering ,you just reminded me what VW need to offer on the GolfR MK8 -a bloody good stick shift.

I read that US Golf R OWNERS are demanding a Stick Shift option .

I love the look of the new FL5. They have toned down the styling, it’s a bit less “in your face” and the aero q’s serve a purpose. Nice.

Still not keen on the triple exhaust though and much prefer those on the FK2.

Would still take this over a Golf R.
