I have been into VW Skoda etc for about 8 years and am really happy to have found this site, So much useful info by people in the know.

I had a 2010 Skoda Octavia 1.6 tdi elegance estate for the past year with no problems to speak of and yesterday managed to purchase a Black 2012 Skoda Superb 1.6 elegance estate. It's Huge and has great spec, My partner owns a 2002 Skoda Superb 1.9 tdi with 150.000 miles that still runs like new.

Looking for to contributing to the site.

1997, white. Two donor cars in its history, a yellow one so probably a fun and a red one, which I think was a 4 door. It's been sitting in an industrial unit for 12 year, one owner from new, some welding evident to rear turrets and 'most of the flatbed' Needs welding on the front upper wing supports and to the windscreen frame. Hello My skoda start keeping rpm in neutral around 900 to 950, yesterday i went for ride on motorway and engine light came on then few minutes after dpf light came on. Drove for 2 hours no issuses turbo works fine also power is fine, traffic was cray so was not able keep driving in high rpm. Will only driving in high RPM help to clear out or not? My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

I was never happy with the performance of the original brakes. The braking efficiency felt poor, and in wet weather the discs would quickly develop surface rust. When braking in damp or rainy conditions, the noise made it sound like I was driving an old car with worn-out brakes. After 50,000 km, I decided to replace the brakes. I installed Zimmermann discs and pads on the front axle. Braking performance didn't improve noticeably, but the annoying noise in wet weather is finally gone. Now I only
