Parking sensors are silent

Featured Replies

Hi,

My wife and I picked up our white Black Edition estate on Saturday - it's a cracking car and we're very happy with it.

The only problem I've found so far is that the parking sensors aren't making a noise when reversing.  Every time I put the car into reverse it's muting the sensors by default, and if I press the button to unmute the beeping it still doesn't make a noise.  In both situations it does show a working on-screen diagram, it's just not beeping.

I've had a look in the settings and it's not set to be muted so I'm a bit confused.  Is this a feature of the system or is there a setting I need to change?

Thanks,

Dave

Try turning the volume up when you're in reverse - instead of unmuting a zero level volume.

Thank you - I'll give that a go and see what happens.

Think you can alter the volume via the settings on the Radio
