Just a quick question on calliper compatibility for a 2007 VRS tfsi. 

I need a new/refurbed/good used unit but wondering if it has to be from a mk2 petrol vrs or are any other variants compatible?

 

Also, if anyone has one or a good source for them then even better!

I got mine from Eurocarparts (mine is a petrol though). im not 100% sure but i think they are the same for the petrol & diesel vrs models,in fact they may be the same as the standard octavia's but just come ready painted in red or green. 

The VRS has a bigger piston in the rear caliper than the smaller engine models. You can buy a un-painted piston from eurocarparts that has the 38mm piston (think that's the size) and paint it yourself.
