hello mates, im proud to say im a new octi vrs owner    i recently bought a 2008 vrs and i was browsing arround here about retrofiting facelift maxidot and mfsw.

i've seen a couple of threads about retrofiting but couldn't found what i was looking for, i want to know if anyone has done something like this --->

my octi is equiped with maxidot and bluetooth. i dont know if <-- that info help.

 

it will be so much help if anyone know the codes for new parts if needed, also a step by step on how to do it

you'll need a new steering controller and the mfsw, and someone who can code it for you (vcds).

 

i retro fitted the mfsw on mine, pretty straightforward job - i had maxidot already.  the part numbers i used are in my PH blog (link below) but you'll need to check compatability - there are several versions of the steering controller.  i got my parts from http://www.skodateile.cz/
