Galaxy S4 and Bolaro issue

Featured Replies

Seem to have a problem making calls. When the phone is connected to the bluetooth and i make a call the recipient of the call can't hear me and i can't hear them. If I receive a call and answer it all seems to be ok.

Has anyone else got this setup and does it work. Is this a trip back to the dealership.

I have an S4 and Bolero and it took me a long time to sort out settings on phone and car (it was working ok but the Bluetooth connection wasn't maintained after making a call - probably something to do with timeout settings switching BT off on the phone after 5-10 mins).

But other than that it works fine for making and receiving calls.  Could there be a problem with Bluetooth volume settings?  Not in BT settings but in 'Sound-volume' settings I think there is a separate setting for BT volume.

BT volume would only matter driver hearing in the car - is accessible via phone volume controls when BT is connected.

I would suggest deleting your phone from the car and add it again.

Oh and if you are connected check if you have media and phone connections on BT settings (on your Galaxy of course).

Are you sure its not the volume for the call set very low or on mute?

I have the Columbus navigation & it maintains 3 separate volumes (audio, navigation & phonecalls), I guess the Amunsen & Bolero should do the same.

This has happened to me a few times with the phonecall volume (and also navigation) where the volume is changed down to almost zero & I cant hear anything.

I had to increase the volume during the call to get it back to normal levels.

I have an update on this but sadly no a solution yet.

I use Sygic satnav on the phone set to use phone speakers. If sygic is running then I can't hear sound when making a call (Recieving a call is fine) If sygic is not running then all is ok.

So looks like a satnav software issue nothing to do with the car.

Wiill update if I find a solution.
