Clutch biting point

Featured Replies

Hi, we just picked up a used 2014 Rapid Spaceback 1.6 TD 105PS yesterday for my GF and when I drove it I thought the clutch bite point seemed a bit high. Is this normal? As the clutch wears does the bite point go lower or higher?

Thanks

Alec

Afik it gets higher the more worn it becomes. My wife drove us back from our wedding last week and after a few stalls was ok but the stalling was because she went past the biting point too quickly
