Wheel arch carpets for the boot

As I understand it, earlier Yeti's used to have carpets covering the plastic wheel arch covers in the boot.

Is there anywhere that sells these for the later Yeti's without them? A quick search has brought up nothing. Thanks.

It's an easy DIY job.  B&Q sell carpet tiles, 500mm square and currently at around £4 a go.  There's a grey that is a very passable match with my boot carpet.  There was enough for the two sides and a bit left over to front an underseat drawer.  Note that the panels are handed - ie the left and right arches are different; make a paper template of each.  I've got a pair of heavy upholstery scissors that did the cutting but it shouldn't be too difficult with a new Stanley blade.  A sharp edge (and I mean sharp) will cut through the hard backing and cleanly slice the pile.  I fixed the panels with heavy duty carpet laying tape.

Just a thought:  Annie has a spare wheel so the floor is high (allow the arch panel to run down just below it for tidiness).  I don't know what the configuration is with the lowered floor and you might need bigger panels to the tune of two carpet tiles.

I'll post the pic of my efforts if I can find it!

Have fun...

I knew my 2nd yeti didn't have them, so I peeled them off the old one and stuck them in the new one.

Didn't even need new sticky, as when I took them out, all the sticky came with them and was still more than up to the job.

If I swap this yeti for another, they'll be coming out again.
