Anyone point me in the right direction of how to remove the nearside (left) vent in the dash? The infernal dash vibration/rattle/squeak/creak is driving me nuts!

 

Can't find anything in the search engine, and my Haynes manual is nigh on useless.

If I remember correctly, it's metal clips that hold it in place. So its just a case of getting something in behind it and prying out. Think I used plastic bike tyre levers.

Right, somewhere in the garage, I've got a set of trim removal tools. So will have a go when I get chance.

 

I was worried I'd end up breaking the vent tbh, so I haven't tried to persuade it off with too much force.

 

I've had the central vents off previously, so I guess it's more of the same.
