Roomster window switch

Featured Replies

Hi folks, just noticed the other day that the front passenger side window on the Mrs ' Roomster doesn't go down with the switch but will go up. Drivers side switch works both windows fine. I was just wondering how easy it is to get the single (n/s) switch out. It looks like it could be levered out with a small screwdriver or do I have to mess about dismantling parts of the armrest.

Thanks

Nick G

I would not be able to say for sure that the switch is the cause of the problem, but getting the switch out of the passenger door is as you thought, just put a small flat blade screwdriver under the lip of the switch from the 'lock end' and it levers out quite easily.

If you press the switch further down the windows lower automatically without pressing the switch and by lifting the switch they close automatically. The contacts may be dirty so this may clean them by pressing and lifting the switch to the full extent of travel
