DSG software check?

 

 

 

Only reason i'm asking is the DSG service is due in another 5,000 miles and if a newer version of the software for the DSG was available i was going to have the DSG service done at the dealers and get them to update it at the same time.... Whereas if it's up to date i would take it elsewhere and have it done for a few quid less than the dealers. The box itself seems to be running ok.... The only little niggle i sometimes have is that it can seem to be a bit quick to drop down to 2nd when coming to a stand and feels like it lurches you forward as it drops to 2nd from 3rd... Feels a bit like it should have waited another second or so.
