Yes I believe it was Pre-facelift 929L (Luce Legato)

Lesmond - correct. It was (is) a 1978 Mazda 929L. My dad had a hideous metallic green one in Hong Kong as a runaround and although it was a pig ugly barge it was comfortable, reliable and safe as houses as no one would ever want to nick it
