Have they changed the car?

Featured Replies

Picked up my Citigo SE this evening and it had both electric window buttons on the drivers door. All reviews I have read had people complaining about having to lean across to open the front passenger window.

  • That's why my heart stopped when Westover said "we can wash your car when its repaired" my reaction went a little something like:

  • Great news at last [emoji106][emoji4] Trivial but useful I know.

  • So it has........................... latest brochure online.     Presentation1.pdf

I knew the 2015 Up! had the window switch upgrade obviously the Citigo and I presume the Mii are getting it as well.

Great news? Now I have even more harder time to wait my new Citigo to arrive. :sun:

Is there anything else that looks added or different?

I hate to say it, but something tells me the bog standard s models will not have twin switches

Comfort pack on the S shows twin switches.

Does the S model still have wind up windows?

Without the Comfort pack, yes.

I bet it doesn't have a warning indicator for the heated mirrors.

I don't think any VAG car has one.

Yes Chris. None of our start times are not straight forward. The are to the nearest minute not five min intervals i.e. 0713 to 1638.

My wife has 16 years Service at Royal mail call centre Breakwater road Plymouth.

I've been looking at the new brochure for the S and according to that, if you want a 5dr with the Comfort package (inc. Height Adj Driver seat, Elec. Windows, remote Central locking), you can't as it is only for the 3dr. The individual items are not listed in the individual options either. I am going to ring my dealer in a bit to check.

Are the new twin switches illuminated at night? It would be nice if they'd also addressed this issue too...

Now all they need to do is:

Add Reach adjustment on the steering wheel

Add back lights to the door switch gear

Add a ESP switch

put a 110bhp 1.0 Turbo engine in it.

And i might consider going back to a citigo! :D

No, dealer confirms, if you want a 5 dr S with Height Adj Driver seat, Elec. Windows, remote Central locking you can't. You have to have an SE, but he did point out that if you want finance it's 0% on the SE and not on the S. Thing is I don't want an SE.

Have a look at the Mii Sport, as far as I can see all those are fitted to my wife's car.

Yes that may be so but it's a Seat and 3 door not 5 and more money than the Citigo S.

No it doesn't seem that this has been addressed. Sorry.

Don't quite understand that, Up!, Mii or Citygo , I think you'll find, are made on the same assembly line and therefore basically the same.

I've just counted the number of doors on my wife's Mii Sport, definitely 5!

Probably is more money, when we bought hers the attitudes between the dealers and the deal offered was what made the difference.

VW didn't even come to see what we wanted in their showroom, the Skoda dealer we bought my Yeti from told us we didn't want a Citygo, the SEAT dealer was a class apart with a good price and free reversing sensors and spare wheel included, a good PX and 0% finance.

You pays your money and takes your choice but don't expect top spec for base money.
