Hi guys, I have a Fabia VRS SE, ive just bought a EGR delete kit and wanting to know what to do with the EGR cooler?

I dont mind leaving the cooler in place i just dont know what to do with the pipes, any help or pictures would be appreciated.

If your leaving cooler in place you don't need to do anything with the pipes? That is assuming you mean the coolant pipes?

You can either just fit the EGR blanking plate to the end of the cooler that comes off the EGR itself, or you can remove the cooler altogether. I don't think there's any point in keeping it once you remove the EGR.

 

It's held onto the inlet manifold with 2 small bolts. You then have to remove the coolant pipes and join them together. You don't need any new pipes or clips, as you have everything you need!
