I had Hortons supply and fit the 40mm Eibach springs, when I researched them I was told that the 40mm were a special order and not the website??

I haven't really seen any difference in ride quality on the 17's but was truly shocking when I tried 18's.

Think it was about £350, but I had other things done at the same time, so not really that sure.

vat registared but none skoda garage is like 290 supplied and fitted brand new for eibach 40mm springs

 

100-120 fitting is the norm for a fair priced decent garage

 

i did mine myself including hire of a ramp for 135

Oh okay, my mate was saying he would be able to fit them if i jack the car up..but dunno if i would risk it. How much would it cost for a garage to do roughly? Cos i might want to take them off before i sell the car in a couple of years

 

i was going to do it on the drive but there are no official trolley jack points for the car. 2 post lif is the only way to go really

They look gash at standard height IMHO, 

but i like Standard height because of driving standard roads, and especially when it is a bit snowy,

or you need to go onto a verge on narrow back roads for 2 vehicles to pass each other.

Id of been stuck the last few days if id lowered the car any.

Plus its not a racing car, so im not bothered by it not looking like one haha

I've done my fair share of lowering cars and I've found that there's nothing quite like the feeling of standard suspension in my opinion.

You can improve the ride and the handling from the standard & without the car / estate being lowered.

No way, that arch gap is huuuge, i've had people tell me my monte looks like a 4x4
