Hi eveveryone, is it possible to adjust sensitivity of rain sensor any other way than by switch on the wipers stalk? By vcds, or by dealers software? 

Mine seems to be not as sensitive anymore. I had to increase sensitivity on the wiper stalk to achieve same results as with lower sensitivity setting two years ago. As I can't go any higher on the stalk,  I'm afraid that without software adjustment I won't be able to use auto wipers in the future. 

Dealer had a look and says that there are no error codes and that they can't do it. 

Any suggestions?

Have you tried cleaning the windscreen where the sensor is?

I presume you haven't had the windscreen replaced recently?

Windscreen was replaced by the dealer about a year ago. They say there was nothing to set. So according to above post the wipers sensor sensitivity can only be adjusted by VCDS? Dealer can't do it?
