Anyone fitted LED's to their interior? If so what sizes/can us numbers are needed? I'm wanting LED bulbs in the front and rear ceiling, boot and glove box.

I've got a MK3 octavia VRS hatch

Any help would be appreciated.

Ledperf do a full kit which I fit the week after buying the car. I can highly recommend it. It includes all the bulbs you listed

Another vote for LEDperf, full interior kit complete with instructions. Ordered before delivery and fitted within the first week of ownership.

Hi. I got the pack from ledperf. But all manuals are in france. Witch led do i net to put the resistors that folows in the pack ?

The resistors are just in case. I didn't need them anywhere

Okay. Thanks for the information

I never used the resistors either or the spare rear bulbs that were included for fitment around the pano roof which are a different type.

Is it difficult to swap?

And how does it affect the internal lighting, brighter or?

Very easy to do. Lighting is whiter and matches that of the two small LEDs in the panel that illuminate the gear stick area. The ledperf kit is a perfect match

If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is.

Interiors are all 501s I simply got a pile from eBay for peanuts and changed all the interiors for less than a tenner.

I did the same and have about 10 spare ones. Had them in for 4 months now without issue.

Steve

Did you all go for white or has anyone tried the blue LEDs?

Steve

Don't think I'd opt for blue myself. The interior lights are currently white and green.

As an option for any of the 501 interior bulbs - I've used these these Osram ones and they are far better quality than many ebay LEDs. They are warm white, and bright with a diffuser and work really well in the VRS front reading lights and glove box.

Nice but pricey, although I guess you pay for what you get :)

Maybe stupid question, but why change? Do the original bulbs draw that much power?

I think that it is more for aesthetics over power consumption.

I have an option to buy LEDs with or without canbus support. Is canbus necessary for interior lights?

Not interior lights, only exterior.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk the free non retired version!

Maybe a stupid question but do the interior LEDs dim as they switch off like the standard bulbs do?

I use theese with satisfaction (check my feedback):

(Item is unavailable at the moment as the whole company is on holiday till March.)

They support dimming (the effect is little bit faster) and at the very end (~10-20% brightness) they switch off instantly.

There is no flicker when dimmed.

I think Andy also like those bulbs ;)

So much so I have ordered 14 of them

2 for the number plate lights

2 for the puddle lights

2 for the side lights

2 for the boot lights

2 for the interior lights (combi with pano roof so need different bulbs for the rear reading lights)

2 for the interior door lights

1 for the glovebox light

4 for the footwell lights

Woops - haven't ordered enough - forgot about the footwell lights!

Hi,

got a question about footwell lights. If all the interior bulbs are 501s, can someone please tell me how to change footwell bulbs. Footwells have a metal housing with plastic cover that doesnt look easy to open to. Actually it looks like I'll brake them if I try something.

One more question for ledperf owners. Are the footwells in the ledperf pack just bulbs or the whole light housing with bulbs?

Thanks everyone!!
