It will then be guessing how low it takes to get over here! Wish they'd do a petrol 4x4 in the Elegance estate over here, with DSG too would be perfect.

Yeah, if they did a petrol 4x4 I would probably have gone for one of those....

It will hopefully have, winter pack, towbar, sunset glass, iPod thing, spare wheel and the simply clever bin....

(And then when it gets home, there is dog guard, boot liner and mat, front mud flaps, rearguard, pressed steel plates and holders to fit too)

The one that arrived end of last year should have had those things on too.... But somewhere that info got lost in the system or translation or something....

Not holding out for the new plate, after the Christmas rush I got round to weighing in my scrap in January so bought a private plate for it..... But suspect it'll be a March registration anyway

Must get a rearguard sorted myself. Was loading an old fridge freezer in to the boot and I was having to be sooooo careful loading it in!

I couldn't have the winter pack on the 1.4 as you can't have the heated screen. Not sure what their logic is as you can add heated front and rear seats which must surely put more of a drain on things (if that is their reason).

We've got a boxer dog, and jumping in and out seemed to scratch the Altea bumper over the years

Got a loan yeti at the minute and putting a towel over the boot shut/bumper before he jumps in or out is a bit of a faff (but that's got a lower boot floor anyway, and is higher)

Mine is also beeing built in week 6, should have it here it denmark in week 9

Its a shame, its a great combo. Tried on one at my dealer, and will order one shortly.
