Octavia Scout lease deals

Featured Replies

Just been half considering a lease for a new Skoda or not, but notice there seems to be a few decent deals available on an Octavia Scout Estate - I loved my 08 vRS Estate before I eventually traded it, so would readily have another Octavia Estate. Any reason why there should be attractive deals on a Scout moreso than other models?

Having a quick flick around on google got me deals as low as 129 or 139 quid pm with somewhere close to a grand deposit, which I thought was a steal for such a motor brand new. Anyone have experience of leasing or of the Scout? I must say it seems pretty decent at first glance :)

Any input welcomed...

Just ordered a brand new Scout today on a lease arrangement. £1003 deposit and £167 pm over 2yrs, 5,000 miles per annum 7.5p per mile excess with no limit. Leased a vehicle for the first time in September and was the main factor in going the same way for our second car. If you change regularly can't see many reasons why you would buy or use a PCP, the deals on some leases are superb. You have to look for them and check the excess mileage charges. VAG have a std rate for excess mileage of around 7.5p ( Inc vat) for example making their 5000 mile allowance with added excess miles a good deal. I initially discounted this and searched for 10k & 15k deals which often sent the prices sky high, so you need to do the maths.

Why are Skoda discounting the Scout so much? I am sure others are better qualified to say, guess they have decided to have a production run for newly revised model ( get some on the road and in people' s view) and the UK market is currently a good one compared to rest of the EU

Happy hunting
