Got a call from the dealer today

Apparently my car has been built! News to me as they never told me I had a build week!

I've heard nothing from them since the order was placed 7 weeks ago

Anyway nice to know that it is on its way

The salesman I ordered from has left so this may explain the lack of comms

Mines in Germany waiting g for the the slow boat. can't wait now....

Mine was in Germany a week ago looking forward now in the next few weeks to a phone call from my dealer to say it has arrived.

I've got a build week at last ,week 21. If I counted right and allow a month from build to UK I might have nice blue Fabia sel for my birthday[emoji2].

got my retention cert today 15/4/15 , also got my weekly call from skoda on the progress ,, shipped !! , getting it next week or the week after !!

I know, silence is golden and all that, but I put my order last week in January and havent heard even a sigh yet from the dealer.

that seems strange , aberdeen skoda dealer has phoned me each friday afternoon for status updates since january , its now shipped , you deserve better

A question for those who have a build week, or have had delivered cars.

How long from order did you have a build week?

I ordered 6 weeks ago and have heard nothing.

Ordered Jan 27, got the build week/delivery notificaton this week, expected delivery first week in May/w19.

I ordered on Feb 19th and apparently it was built last week

No update from the dealer this week so who knows when I'll get it!

Ordered mine two weeks ago now showing build week 20 .[emoji4]

Update from the dealer today:

The car is with them and will be PDI'd this week

I should take delivery on Monday (27th)

That's 2 updates in 9 weeks from the order date

Learned today that the car has arrived at the dealer. We agreed on delivery at May 7. There are a few doodahs as electrical motor and cabin heater etc done locally before delivery.
