  • Feels different to the last car, but that was a diesel, if I have to be critical the steering feels more artificial in the mk3, it's a lot lighter.   Suspension is a big move forward though, actuall

  • Not a bad deal for a brand new model. I expect I could've done better if I'd waited a while but life's for living.

It's a 15 plate.

The car arrived with the Dealer some 4 weeks back and they kindly held it back to register onto the new plate.

Would upload some photos but the attachment system doesn't appear to be very user friendly.

Suspension is a big move forward though, actually feels comfortable to drive, the monte I had before felt rather crashy if i'm honest.

Only done 10 miles so far so i'll probably post up a review once i've done a good few more miles :)

Build week 16 for me. I'm debating adding sports supension, can anybody recommend it.

I see those are the £200 each alloys.. you don't want to scratch them on any kerbs any time soon!!!

Yep.

When the car is build and delivered.. :-D

Go for it, I dread to think how high it sits on standard suspension, and ride doesn't feel compromised

Well I can't be having it on monster truck suspension.

Look forward to your Review. Have been given a build week commencing next Monday so hopefully collect it by the end of March.

I'll be asking my dealer for a daily update on my car's whereabouts once it rolls of the production line next week.

Just find out what ship it's on then track it on Marine Traffic if you really need to know it's daily whereabouts ;)

I really should've put a smiley on the end of that post. :)

My build week was 9, car should arrive 11.03, will have toned glasses and mud flaps fitted so will get the keys and car 14.03, 16.03 or 17.03. Exited! :) :)

UPDATE: the dealer phoned me today.. it was a courtesy call as the rep who originally took my order took a promotion and moved on.. suffice to say, the new guy who was just phoning to introduce himself said.. as soon as I hear about a build week I will let you know, to which I replied, I was told build week was last week (week 10), "ok - I'll make an enquiry for you".  10 minutes later phone call back to say the car was at 'Port of Exit..'.  Not too long to wait now then.

Nice one. For a moment there I thought you were going to say it hadn't been built yet.

Probably week 15, meaning delivery week 19.

Lessee...
