Hello one and all,

I have just bought a 20yr old Favorit as an interim runaround while my insurers cough up for an accident (not-at-fault-but-disputed) that has destroyed my previous car. This "stop gap" motor instantly became my first restoration project.

I believe that I am at the top of a very slippery slope, but what the heck....

I am a complete newbie with a lot to learn and little to lose. Be gentle with me!

All the best,

Jonathan

Hello Jonathan  :hi:

If you're already on the slope it's probably too late

Nice to see a Favorit project starting up.

Thanks Gaz,

Yes, way too late. By the way, here is a pic of the old girl. Can you make out the plate...?

Thought you'd appreciate the project even more!
