More Insurance Questions, sorry

Featured Replies

Hello,

Got 16 days before renewal so I've been ringing around. Got a 53 Furby vRS, and the bad part being I'm 24 with 1yr NCB.

So far my cheapest quote is with Elephant and stands at a very small

I think elephant will insure modded cars but they have a "factory replacement" policy so they'll only replace bits with OEM parts.

Tesco insured me on a modified Scooby turbo when I was of a similar age and NCD :D I guess it depends how much modifying you want to do, as to how much your premium will increase........

Chris

Norwich Union aparently allow 3 mods but not sure if upping BHP is allowed at all. Also despite the expensive TV adds they wont quote you happy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried tesco, but they were over 1k.

My Elephant policy is underwritten by Admiral, who quoted me around 1,400 when I went to them direct!

I think I'm gonna have to stick with Elephant and hope nothing happens to my car if I do modify anything.:(

Now, where's that Indian phrase book so I can call their hotline?!?
