Right hand foot rest?

Featured Replies

I am a bit confused by this thead! My wife has a Yeti, bought in December, which has a foot rest by the throttle. The only drawback is that it is a bit narrow, compared to the one on my Octy.

That's interesting, any chance of a picture please?

Plus one on that please.

Plus two.

I don't see it being very wide though.

Why two threads?

Why two threads?

This thread was asking if one was available and it was decided that it was not.

The other thread is about trying to build one.

IF there is a footrest available for the Yeti it must have a part no,so any pics might help.

I'll keep it simple and reply to the original thread...

If the potential problem is wearing out the carpet, then why not get a bit of carpet (not exactly difficult to find a bit of like carpet) and Velcro it in place?

I'll give a simple answer, I want a footrest like I've had in previous cars and others in the Skoda range have and if I cannot buy one I'll make one.

The carpet is no good to comfortably rest my foot on for any length of time like I can in other cars.

If you and others want to digress then it's up to you.

Think mine has as well, check tomorrow/ photo, currently mid channel!

Its a Mk1 Adventure!

With all due respect, Trev2, the OP who started the thread, stated that he was concerned about wear to the carpet/arch, not necessarily the need for an actual footrest (cross refer post #18).

I have no issue with you wanting to make your own footrest but please allow me to reply to the comments made by the OP of this thread, if I want to....

This is the very first post in the thread, looking for a footrest with no mention of wear on carpet!

Hi Folks,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a right hand foot rest, ie, somewhere to rest my throttle foot when in cruise?  I know you can get them for l/h drive Yetis, but had little luck finding one for r/h drive Yetis.

And this is my post #5 asking for a footrest and protecting the carpet secondary!

My Polo RIGHT HAND DRIVE had a very sturdy RIGHT foot rest and with extended periods with cruise control I'd find it useful + it protects the carpet there.

Good grief, do try and relax.

If you read my previous post, I said cross refer to post #18.

Please accept my apology for interfering, I didn't realise only one option to the OP's question was available.

I hope your foot rests in peace....

Surely it should be called a "right foot foot-rest"?
