Thought I'd do a Project thread so to keep all the mods together as I do them.

So back in September 2013 I bought a Sport. It was a pre reg May 2013 registered.

I picked it up on a very wet night of Friday the 13th September [emoji15]

That was the first quick pic in the rain.

Next day was nice [emoji106]

Replaced the headlight bulbs with Osram Nightbreakers but didn't last very long though [emoji19]

Replaced those with Halfords Ultra Brilliance +120%.

Next I did the interior light mod. Bought a lamp unit for a MK4 Golf off eBay.

It's a straight plug and play. Changed the standard bulbs for LED,s which look like this.

After a lot of faffing around with grille surround changing and wrapping in Satin Black I decided to order the Monte Carlo surround after it became available. 808c0344369e2a28e09d1428c45f75d5.jpg

At a cost of £46 from my dealer [emoji15]

Which looked so much better after.

In for its 20K service on Monday. Only on 19K at the moment but it's a 2nd free service [emoji106]

Also another rattle at the back somewhere [emoji57]

Back from the dealers after its 20K service. Rattle sorted from the back too [emoji106]

They washed it too [emoji15][emoji15]

Feels much better to drive now which is weird [emoji6]

That's because they bleed the brakes (I was quiet flabbergasted that Westover know how to do this ;):D)

I said when someone sits in the back it goes away. They adjusted the rear seat. Now nobody on the back seat it comes back. It's further back and goes when there's load so could be suspension related?

I've got a spare wheel and toolkit but it's never rattled before.

Looks quite simple to do [emoji6]

Shame it requires drilling holes [emoji15]

That's why I haven't done it, mind you I might buy a second hand shelf to drill if the right priced one comes around so I still have a stock one
