Now I've got a spare donor grille to chop up and use as a guide .

I'm going to make a template first from card for the exact shape and fitment and then will possibly use this as the finished grille to insert into the frame.

It's just about big enough to cut and bend into shape (hopefully).

Not sure. If you get the light effect without seeing the bulbs that would be nice.

I was thinking of burying them under the dash so it's not noticeable and bright. I just want a subtle floor lighting [emoji6]
