I say go with some of the more obscure A8 / A6 wheels, or get on to German eBay and bag something they never imported into the UK, for a fraction of the price.

If you want to be different, try a set of 19 inch tsw pace alloys. They would look the dogs on your car. just happen to have a set of 19x7 for sale from my octy, with 215x35 toyo elastic band tyres. i'm sure they would fit providing your wheels are 5 stud. just got a set of of 20 inch a8's, proper pimp my ride. pm me if you're interested.

After seeing the Palladios actually on the car, i have gone of them a little bit. But must admit those A8"s look awesome. Ok a bit hard to keep clean but so what its worth it.

I'm with you on that one Tony. By the way, the Oz wheels now live on a black furby, and they look mega:thumbup: Must be cos my car is silver that i didnt like the look of them.

Gonna have a look at some 19"s this afternoon, i dont think they will fit but no harm in looking. I know they will slow the car down a bit, and wont handle quite aswell. But could look awesome. I will let you know how i get on. But it will be monday.

Look much better than either of above (and nice and light)

A8s too common (and heavy?)

17s and above are going to start effecting handling and ride too.

Stick with the superlegs!

I tried some 7x19" TSW pace multi-spoke alloys on my Fabia VRS yesterday and I.M.O looked awesome, the only slight problem was they caught slighty on the front inner plastic wheel arch liner and that put me off slightly so i didnt get them, but to be honest i am having 2nd thoughts coz the arch liner problem would be relitevly easy to solve. Apart from that the car drove fine. Soz just never thought to take pictures of the car with them on, coz i was a bit dissapointed at the time. But i did take pics of the chaps car who was selling the wheels, he has got 20"s on his Octavia VRS, and it looked the Dog"s dangley bits. I will post them soon.

Not entirely sure I'd want meet a pothole or even a particularly rough surface while running something that big on our little rollerskate cars though
