Don't know if you know Jon the passenger side wiper needs to be curved other wise it will not clean the window properly when it reaches the drivers side of the screen it will leave water on the screen....Bosch ones are ok but make sure the opassenger side on is curved Compare it to the OE comming off

VW part number 1J0998003 for a pair of fronts about

Prefer the Bosch ones myself. Far better than OEM ones - I think these are either Valeo or SWF.

I may have found a solution to the front aero wipers, but need to do a little more investigation.

You got a part number for the wiper set by any chance? My fronts are now a little worse for wear and the back one is now generally rubbish!

Cheers,

Steve

Use the ones quoted by FordFan above Steve. They are Valeo with wear indicators, I have them on mine and they are far better than the OEM Bosch ones.

Mine are crying out to be replaced but i'm putting up waiting for some universal aero ones :D

I was thinking of going for the single blade type as fitted to all VW's!

Anyone fitted these????

They're what we're talking about :D (aero)

It's been visited a few times before. The problem has been with the Fabia having different ams to anything else.

Bosch were supposed to be releasing an upgrade kit.

Believe or not, I have fitted some Bosch retro fit aero blades from a Renault Scenic!

They are the only retro fit ones that are available at the moment.

Must say they are miles better than the OEM wipers. They differ slightly in size to he OEM sizes (slightly bigger for the drivers side & slightly smaller for the passenger side) but you can hardly tell.

Interesting! Did you just get them from a Renault dealer? Cost?

When you say they're different sizes, are there any issues like hitting the edge of the screen or anything?

Steve

What made you think of Renault:confused: .........Have they fallen to bits yet:D

Yeah, no problem.
