They look ok don't they.

The husband of one of the girls at work is a partsman at Renault... I'll get prices ;)

Pics as promised:-

Bang on cheers

I'll definately be ordering some of them

Just to clarify, did you order part no. 77-11-236-179 ?

Thanks again

I ordered my set this morning...

Can't wait to have Aero wipers again!!!

  • 3 weeks later...

My Wipers arrived today... Fitted in a couple of minutes... OMG! I'd forgotten how well these badgers wipe!

The parts guy was like "1 wiper blade sir". I said "erm, no, a pair"... Anyway, after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, he opened the package and two blades were in there. One huge one and one tiny one.

Anyway, £30.45p for two blades is far too expensive, BUT they're cool as a cucumber, wipe really well and I like em!

Thanks for the part number!

Very tempting, and there's a Renault dealer just down the road :rubchin:

But £30 for some wipers? Blimey

Still tempted though :)

Steve

I spent more like £50 plus loads of messing about to get aero wipers on my Polo, so I suppose I should think these are cheap LOL

OK then, they're a bargain ;)

Steve

On a slight tangent, anyone know how much just the Fabia rear wiper is? Was going to get the 3-pack from Skoda, but possibly not anymore :P

And if can be sourced from somewhere apart from a Skoda stealer?

Cheers,

Steve

Anybody know if these Scenic blades are Renault dealers only or will Halfrauds sell them?

Renault dealers only, I'm afraid.

****... Our Renault dealer is notoriously useless!

One thing I did not understand properly.

If my car did not come with aero wipers, I can use the Bosch ones since they have a conversion kit. But let's supose I do not have the Bosch aero's and I still have the normal wipers. Do the renault fit on the normal wiper arms?

Yes. They clip onto normal wiper arms.

Does the rear scenic one work as well or is it just the front?

Try vagparts.com and look for the polo aero wiper. IIRC its about £18 inc everything!

Yes. They clip onto normal wiper arms.
Ive just been to the local Renault place to order the wipers. The surprisingly helpful(!!) parts girl said she didnt recognise that part number (77 11 236 179) but she had two different types of aero blades in stock and we ended up trying to fit them onto my car with no luck  They might not have been the Scenic wipers, but looked pretty similiar- even though I couldnt see any way of the standard wiper arm clipping round this aero blade.

So in the end she ordered the part with this 'unknown' number (dont know what she meant by that) and hopefully will be the Scenic ones that fit.

Big  to the parts girl at Sunwin Renault in Blackpool though!! Opening brand new packets of wiper blades for me to try out on my Skoda

Jon - do you know if these Scenic ones will also fit straight on the Ibiza Mk4? I've seen you about on SCN, but thought it was easier to ask here :)

Cheers,

Steve

They should do Steve. In fact, this mod originally started over on SCN!

Cheers, I was starting to get that picture! But there's such a lot of info over there (66 pages of threads on the Beeza Mk4 alone) I thought I'd speed up the process by asking :)

Might pop down to the Renault dealer next week then.

Cheers,

Steve
