Not experienced that although today for the first time my r/h/s mirror started working at the same time as the l/h/s when adjusted. Weird.

check the settings in MFD m8....there is a setting for both mirrors to adjust at the same time.

Recalibrate the electric windows! I know it sounds daft but . . . . it can cause this effect.

To do this, wind all windows down then up 'manually' - i.e. not using the 'auto' function, then when the window is closed hold each window switch in the 'up' position for a few seconds. You may here a 'bleep' as the new setting are stored, and mirror fold may be restored!

I had to take my superb into the dealer recently to get the electrics recoded.  Occasionally the electric mirrors would stop working on from the key fob although OK on the inside switch. Has anyone else had this problem

Yes I had a similar problem with them not folding from the keyfob.

It seems they're linked into the auto window closing function from the keyfob, so try resetting them...

Open all the windows, then close them and continue to hold all four buttons up after they close for 10 seconds. Hopefully you'll find they now fold-in by holding the lock button on the keyfob for > 2 seconds....

Something else you can try is "reset factory settings" or something in the Maxidot menu, that has helped me in the past to force the car to 'reboot' if you will.
