Modified Fabia Vrs Se "09" Plate - REMOVED

Featured Replies

I would look for the lowest mintiest mk1 Octavia SDi you can find as a sensible family car and keep the FAB Se for best !

I have been off best part of this week and have tried a couple of cars already;

Audi S1 - had it overnight was good fun and great out of the corners but didnt pass the family test as they had loaned me a 3 door and when I took my daughter to school she complained about climbing in!!

Fiesta ST - a good car to drive and went well, it just didnt excite me or put a smile on my face (always a good test) so think I would get bored. Again don think this would pass the "Family" test.

Seat Leon Cupra - Had a drive in two (the DSG and Manual) and really liked these. Took the wife and she liked it too, which was a good sign. However still not sure as was a lot of money and think it will depreciate quite a bit, wasnt any great deals about either. Out of all so far though this is top of the list.

Must admit though of the three above I was expecting more out of them I guess but compared to my Fabia they were certainly not any faster or exciting although probably a bit more refined.

Thinking of trying the Golf R next but the misses is getting bored considering I was supposed be off work to do stuff !!!

The search continues, for now :notme:

I'm tidying up this thread. This is a for sale thread and discussion should only be about the car being sold..I.e potential buyers. Thanks

Really interested in this car - is it still for sale?

I do have several people interested in the car although the sale is on hold whilst I sort out a replacement.

PM me with your details if you are interested in case others fall through.

I have now decided to keep my car so apologies to all those interested parties. For now anyway.

I got to the point of buying a BMW 135M but then decided that it wasnt really any more FUN than the Fabia and I wouldnt want to take it on the track either.

Also the fact that the BMW was showing 22mpg on the test drive compared to 45mpg with the Fabia was a slight concern.

I am going to keep the Fabia as a track/weekend/fun car and maintain its low miles and condition.

I will get a sensible car for during the week  :D  and to keep the family happy.

Phew

good decision ..

buy a skoda superb 1.9 tdi for family use ..

If you want to "remove" remove the thread, let me know.
