Octavia mk2 single door central locking

Recommended Posts

Tried the manual but all it says is can be activated by dealer?

Am I missing something?

JJ

Yes, you probably are. Looking in manual under Maxi-Dot. I changed the setting on my MkII FL vRS using the Maxi-dot. Page 25 in my owner's manual. It's under Comfort or Convenience, I forgotten which.

I don't think you can do it in the older (earlier) models via maxidot.

I have 55 plate elegance with full maxidot, but cannot change this.

I will double check as I have same issue, but am pretty sure I checked the whole menu.

^^^^ This.

I think is is only possible to adjust anti hijack on maxidot from Face lift onwards. It's certainly not possible on my 2006 L&K, so VCDS needed for the OP's 2005 model I'm afraid.

Both mine have the options for changing single or global central locking, and anti-hijack functions. 54 plate and 08 plate pre-FL.

Interesting to note, too, that the settings can be made different depending on which of the two key fobs is used.

Can you remember how you did it on your 54 plate? Mike.

I've just checked again and cannot find the option.

You haven't enabled yours via VCDS have you? I see you have the kit.

Cheers.
