hello, in the process of fitting my pioneer da110 double din head unit. i was just wondering if anyone knows or can link me to a wiring guide for this? just wanting to know the best place to run the wires for the MIC and Ariel it has for the satnav? had a little search on here but with no luck.

For the car, there might be a few topics discussing routing of wires for phone mics etc. Typically, it'd be run it up the A pillar.

Mic up drivers side and gps is a magnet so I stuck mine to inside of passenger pillar. It's easy, even s novice like me was able to do it haha.

I did something similar in my ibiza. I took the fuse box cover off and threaded a stiff bit of wire through over the steering column to draw the wire through with.

the door rubber and A pillar trim just pull off, so I mounted the mic at the top of the a pillar trim with a bit of foam tape.

The downside is it gets a bit of wind noise from the door seal. I've got to take the head lining down at some point for another job, so when I do, I'm planning to move it to the courtesy light.

It was a PITA when i fitted mine in my Polo 9n, when i went to fit it to my Fabia it was even worse as there is less room at the rear of the stereo

i gave up and fitted a single din DAB pioneer stereo instead, my pet hate of the DA110 was it doesn't support USB pen drives with mp3's on

Sell that head unit it's no good get yourself a 2500bt
