Anyone know where i can get a replacement chrome button for the handbrake for a 2004 Octavia estate  - don't realy want to buy a full handbrake lever just for that little piece that you press in to release the handbrake.

Dealers, tps, scrappy, someone breaking one.

Just did this on the wife's VW Sharon, I bought the whole thing from a breakers for £10, easy enough to swap over..

Bummer - guess i'll have to buy the whole lever in that case - couple of them on ebay at the moment

I had the same problem on the Octy, but just bought the chrome part from a dealer and refitted it.

I dont think can??? My dealer wanted about 20quid for it. Got the full thing on ebay for 8 shiny new. Only pita, unless your a verry god metal fabricator you cant swap the entire lever mechanism out. Just the poxy button due to how the lever is assembled. From what i could tell anyway!

I have a full vrs brake lever if anyone's interested.
