Anyone have a Scout in Metallic Moon White?

I have just taken the plunge and ordered a Scout DSG in Metallic Moon White, so looking forward to hearing what your opinions are!?

Should look nice, you will be over the moon. :peek:

Not a scout but Octy VRS

I have the moon white Scout. Very happy with the colour. I really like how the black details works as an accent colour to the white. Wish that they would have painted the rails and rearview mirrors black instead of grey... but thats only a minor detail in my opinion.

Roof rail color is an option you can pick while ordering, if I'm not mistaken. (Black or aluminum.)

Unfortunately not in the Swe configurator or spec folder. I guess the seller "should" have informed me if that was an option but not a word from him about color on the rails.

 

Not a biggie for me though, and if it was, there's always a possibility to paint them now.

Option code PG0 for the black and PG1 for the aluminum.

 

Here in Finland PG0 is standard on Active, Ambition, Greenline and RS; PG1 on Elegance and L&K. Switching one for the other is free on Elegance and costs 145 € for Ambition, Greenline and RS. (And isn't possible on Active or L&K.)

 

There seems to be no mention of the Scout. I guess it belongs in the same category as L&K, so PG1 is standard and not switchable.

I have a Scout with black rails and mirror covers. Had to pay extra for the mirror covers though. Black rails were actually cheaper than silver. I plan to paint the rest of the silver parts to black also.

I would suggest seeing it in the flesh next to candy white - I was going to order this colour until I saw it...it really does have a slight blueish to it, immediately decided it was not for me and the colour samples they have at skoda didn't really show it off well tbh.

Unfortunately there was no Scout in moon white local to me, so I have decided to take the plunge and order it anyway...

Lazer is very bright White the same as Moon White but without the metallic

Yes that's my moon white.

thank you, if you can put more.. would be great. I think there is a lot people in the same problem, because the config manager at the skoda website is a 3D model, not a real pic..... so cant decide well...

Moon white looks lovely. Chuffed with mine!

Has any Moon White owner found it takes a lot of dirt for it to look dirty?

I didn't want white but delivery time was advantageous so I accepted it.

Very often it doesn't look as dirty as it ought to until you wash half of one panel, then you see it actually seems to have become a very uniform, very pale, grey!

Considering the lousy weather and muck everywhere I am pleasantly surprised at how clean it often looks, even when it isn't!!

Mmm hard to say as mine is washed most weeks.

That said it is proper rammy now.
